Best Free Games of the Week - September 25th 2011

Featuring Fortress Magnus, Diamond Hollow 2, The King's League, Hood Episode 1, Delivery Man and Zombocalypse

This week at freegames.org we couldn’t decide on our Top 5 free games of the week so we have listed our favorite six games instead! This week has seen the release of some really great monster fighting, zombie slaying, witch hunting games!

 

Fortress Magnus Your sky castle is under attack and your princess in in grave danger.  In Fortress Magnus you must defend your castle and rescue the princess from waves of robotic flying enemies.  To do this you fly around shooting fireballs at incoming enemies whilst collecting money and power ups which you can then use to upgrade your firepower.

 

 

 

Diamond Hollow 2 Diamond Hollow 2 is retro style platform game and is the sequel to Diamond Hollow.  It is about a boy who wakes up alone at the bottom of a monster infested cave.  The objective of the game is to try and escape the cave, collecting diamonds along the way, which  you can use to upgrade your weapons and restore your health. This game is an excellent platform game that is well worth a play!

 

 

 

The King’s League The King’s League is a strategic management game and involves recruiting and training miniature knights with the goal of winning a tournament with the king so that you can ascend the throne and become ruler of the kingdom.  Unfortunately, training knights is an expensive business so in order to fund your training you must capture land and complete various quests along the way. The King’s League is a really fun game and the tiny little knight characters complete with tiny horses are very cute!

 

 

Hood Episode 1 A small town believes that it has a witch so has called you, a lone rider with some special skills, to deal with it. Before you can deal with the Witch you must first find out where she is gone. However, as you progress through this point and click adventure game you soon start to realise that not everything is as it seems. If you like creepy fairytales and eerie atmospheres then you’ll really enjoy this game.

 

 

Delivery Man     Delivery man is an action packed defense game set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. in the game you basically sit on the back of a speeding vehicle under a parasol (!) and shoot at your enemies. As you progress through the game you can purchase and upgrade weapons for an even deadlier shot at the bad guys. If you like shooting at bad guys whilst driving at insanely high speeds then this is the game for you!

 

 

Zombocalypse Zombocalypse is a classic shooting arcade style game. In the game your surveillance helicopter has crashed in the middle of zombie infested territory. You must get yourself out of the situation by destroying everything in site.  To kill the zombies you can choose to either shoot at them with a variety of weapons including chainguns or fireblowers or to simply just chop their heads off with your machete.
