Aethos Games have uploaded a preview of their latest game to YouTube. It looks great! These are the same guys that made Revert to Growth so that's hardly a surprise. If anything it seems like they've stepped up their game with this title though. Check out the video.
In the game you control a character called Qoosh who has the ability to teleport. This opens up a huge number of puzzles and interesting scenarios as you explore a giant laboratory. With the laboratory setting, overhead voice talking about science and unique ability which you must use to solve puzzles Qoosh has a very similar feel to Portal. That’s hardly a bad thing though and the main gameplay mechanic is different enough that you won’t feel like you’ve done it all before. In addition to to getting around you can also teleport to swap places with things. This can be used to displace sentry guns stack boxes and who knows what else. The developer has clearly gone to a lot of effort to keep the puzzles interesting with lots of fresh ideas. The voice acting and artwork look great too. I’ve got a feeling this will be a very popular game and you won’t have to worry about missing it’s release. It will be everywhere!
