About
Frankly Impossible is a physics platformer where you are a hot dog in a bun, flipping end over end across a kitchen full of hazards. You roll, spin and jump from plate to plate, dodging hot grills, swinging ketchup bottles, spinning spatulas, chopping cleavers, saw blades, crushers and fans, with a vat of bubbling fryer oil waiting below. There are 144 levels across four difficulties, Easy, Medium, Hard and Impossible, each with three themed worlds of 12 levels, from The Kitchen and The Bakery all the way to The Last Supper. Finish every level in a world to open the next one, and finish any world to open the next difficulty. Every attempt is recorded, so when you plate a level you watch all your runs race at once, and your fastest times and progress are saved in your browser.
How to Play
Hold left or right (A and D, the arrow keys, or the ⟲ and ⟳ buttons on touch) to flip your hot dog end over end along the ground. In the air the same controls spin you and steer you a little. Press Space, W or Up, tap JUMP, or tap anywhere to jump. Every jump is the same height: jump while holding a direction to leap that way, or with no direction to go straight up. Land on your bun and reach the golden plate at the far right of the level to win. Grills, saw blades, the sharp edge of a falling cleaver, a crusher slamming down and the fryer oil all end your attempt and send you back to the start plate. Press R or ↺ to restart instantly at any time.

Tips
- Hold the direction you want to go while you press jump, otherwise you jump straight up.
- Use the air controls gently. A little spin in the air is enough to land flat on your bun.
- Mustard is slippery. Expect to slide when you land on yellow and leave room to stop.
- Pink jelly is a trampoline. Land on it and it always launches you straight up, and jumping off it sends you much higher.
- Cleavers rear back and tremble just before they chop. Only the bottom edge cuts, so you can bump the flat side safely.
- Wait for a crusher to lift, then dash underneath straight away.
- Watch the streaks in a fan's wind. The faster they move, the harder the fan pushes you.
- Every obstacle starts from the same spot on each attempt, so the timing you learned last run still works.
- The bar at the top of the screen shows how far you are through the level and the furthest point you have reached.
- Land flat after a big flip to get a PERFECT, or spin twice for a DOUBLE FLIP.
