Mahjong (with hints!)

As with the original Mahjong, matching tiles have to be removed in pairs by clicking one and then the other. Only the tiles which are uncovered, and have either a free edge on the left or right are available for selecting. Note that every one of the Season tiles (Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn, shown as characters in gowns) count as matching pairs, as do the Flowers. The differences from the original are: (a) there is a “Rules” button, which gives a quick summary of how to play the game, although strangely these refer to the seasons as “farmers”, and (b) the “Show moves” button, which gives the successive possibilities that are available for matching when clicked multiple times. Your success in clearing the board will be rewarded by an animation of a volcano in (rather gentle!) action.
